Grand Theft Auto – Sketch series by Patrick Brown
Patrick Brown has to be one of my favourite artists on DeviantArt. His mix of video game characters and comic book style drawing brings together two of my favourite past-times. Grand Theft Auto seems to be a major source of inspiration for Patrick and he’s produced more work from this game than any other.
Recently he went back to sketching and played around with the idea of the main character in GTA IV ‘Niko Bellic’ car-jacking from various characters in other films/games. It’s great to see an artist work in the rawest form, you get a good picture of the way they work and this series of sketches perfectly compliment Patrick’s sense of humour.
You can check out more of his work on DeviantArt here.
All sketches/illustrations are by Patrick Brown.

I should say, those sketches are really superb! I can say that should be made into the real game. Thanks for sharing these by the way. Anyways, I am such a fan of GTA and that is a reason why we developed a game inspired by GTA called StreetRally. Check it out here in this link http://www.streetrally.com/
amazing sketches. The avatar scene is my top pick! 🙂
